Penalty for contravention of , and :
Section – 606. 牋Any person who is knowingly responsible—
牋牋牋牋牋牋(a) 牋for the issue, circulation or distribution of a prospectus; or
牋牋牋牋牋牋(b) 牋for the issue of a form of [application for shares, debentures or Indian Depository Receipts];
in contravention of any of the provisions of , [, and ], shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to [fifty] thousand rupees, or with both.
